Having overdone it on the festive sherries, I have to admit it was a pretty darned good year for CMFB. Thanks to all of you for a steady stream of gossip, pratfalls and blindingly brilliant archery.

Kent Police 2nd Blue Lamp Shoot

Ten of our archers were summoned to appear at the Police Sports Ground in Maidstone on Saturday 6 October, to undergo St. George and Albion tests  in the 2nd Blue Lamp shoot. One of our party absconded and so the remaining nine passed through the checkpoint to join the other inmates at the field.

For once on a Sunday I was on time, leading to much startlement in the Griffiths household. Unfortunately, said startlement meant that by the time I got to Canterbury's grounds, I was running late.
