Club champs today, and while the results will be published on t'interweb and in the club mag shortly, we felt we had to congratulate you all on the industrial-sized amount of pork pies, cakes, empanadas, cakes, chicken things, pasties and cakes that you brought for the food shoot.

We don't blow our trumpet enough, but a hearty round of self-congratulatory back slapping for all at CMFB Towers for making KPAC welcome and pulling out all the stops. We've had a very nice letter of thanks from them after the inaugural Ascham Challenge match:

Which recurver has been featured in their staff magazine for being an archer? They kept this one quiet from the club (too right as we'd wind them up no end - BW), but did enlist help from another member to take photos of them.

Which recurver was overheard at the Mini Somner saying, "I got three arrows on the wrong target."

Happy 2013!

Having overdone it on the festive sherries, I have to admit it was a pretty darned good year for CMFB. Thanks to all of you for a steady stream of gossip, pratfalls and blindingly brilliant archery.
